Freshwater House II has been designed for a growing family ready to create their forever home, balancing everyday living with the flexibility to entertain, both on a small scale and for larger gatherings. Designed around light, space and connection to the outdoors, the home takes full advantage of its north-to-rear orientation. Oversized openings, a central courtyard and soaring raked ceilings draw natural light deep into the home, creating bright, open spaces that feel calm and connected throughout the day. Exposed rafters and high ceilings add architectural character, bringing greater openness to the space. For this Freshwater family, it was about creating a home that can evolve with them—equally suited to quiet family moments and hosting, now and into the future.
