Anthony and Clare, accomplished media professionals, had always dreamt of returning to their homeland, Australia. Their young children were growing up fast and the time had come for them to start high school. Having moved to Dubai over six years ago and subsequently renting out their family home, they understood the challenges ahead would be substantial. "An opportunity arose for me to work in a media company in Dubai. Our children were very young and we welcomed the chance to embrace a unique experience. Due to the unexpected challenges from COVID, my contract was extended, resulting in complexities related to our property lease in Sydney. That’s another story! We had not initially planned for such an extended stay away from home. The significant factor motivating our decision was the evolving needs of our growing children. The thing holding us back was that we knew our ageing 3-bedroom cottage required quite the renovation and didn’t know where to start, so we started looking at options." Anthony said.
